EVShield reading NXT Ultrasonic Sensor

  1. It’s day two of working with an EVShiled and I love it, but I have a couple of questions that I’ll post as separate topics on the forum.

    Have searched the demos, source code, docs and web without finding the answers, so I hope I have not missed something obvious.

    I note there are examples for:

    * NXT Light sensor;
    * EV3 Light sensor;
    * EV3 Ultrasonic sensor;
    * EV3 Infrared sensor.

    Is there any code available to access the NXT Ultrasonic sensor? I tried the EV3 code but with no luck.

    If no code is available, could you point me in the right direction to get started writing it myself (I’m an experienced coder, but new to Arduino).

    Many thanks,

    Peter.

    NXT Ultrasonic sensor is not supported on EVShield. I'm afraid you can not write its interface either, as that sensor requires a special 9 volts input power.
