    I am trying to connect the digital oneumatic pressure sensor(PPS58-Nx) to the Bricktronics shield and would wish to know if thats compatible and is there any specific library? is mindsensors sensor compatible with arduino?

    Yes, PPS58-Nx is cimpatible with Arduino I2C.
    Does your shied have I2C interface? If so, simply connect it to your shield with following wiring:
    http://www.mindsensors.com/ev3-and-nxt/106-i2c-host-cable-with-nxt-connector
    You can use this wire or make your own based on the schematic that is on this page.
    We do not have library for use with your shield though, you might want to check for library with the manufacturers of that shield.

    Anyhow, for simplicity of use, we would recommend using EVShield, which is a Arduino compatible shield for LEGO Motors and sensors:
