AbsoluteIMU-ACG with Python

  1. I have setup my EV3 with ev3dev and am trying to use Python to get sensor data from my Mindsensor of AbsoluteIMU-ACG.  Is there any Python code available for easily using the sensors (I found code for BrickPi on github, but I don't see anything for EV3).

I saw that page, but I'm not actually sure how to use all the parameters to simply get the values for the current state of the sensors.  I saw a Python wrapper for BrickPi that looked like it really simplified the getting the data (e.g. AbsoluteIMUAcceleration.get_value() returns [x, y, z]).  I was hoping that something similar had already been done for the ev3dev so that I wouldn't have to figure out how to translate the parameters into similar code.

    It seems there's a bit of discussion here. I've never used Python on ev3dev, but someone posted a bit of C++ here.

    May I suggest using our Raspbian distribution? This is our reccomended method. There's an example in the 50-SensorDemos folder, and a few examples in the 30-DataVisualization folder.
