We started to experiment with the BTSense application, successfully running / building the sample applications.
Will there be more details / documentation available on the function calls and general description / advice on the real time behavior of the BT connection.
We were trying to rebuild as a first exercise a Segway style bot, hoping to use the sensors of a HTC, but were running into issues in retrieving the data via BT with the required frequency.

Any pointers and hints or even better experience would be appreciated on whether it would work in such a context.

If you can, post your videos for others to see!

Let us know what you need, and we will add it to the doc.

It's not possible to make Segway using BTSense, the Bluetooth transmission latency is too large to balance the robot.

    Hi Support!

I'll ask my sun to post something on his success!

I'd really appreciate some information and semantics on:
    • BTS_SetFloodCount
    • BTS_SetMessageInterval
    • BTS_KeepAlive

That's what I thought - I guess a good reason to buy one of your sensor!

    Really nice work!

    Postby hadesz » Mon Dec 22, 2014 10:52 amHello,

I'm trying to use the BTSense with HTC One M7 and EV3, but I cannot get any response form the phone, please can you give a sample code for it? I've tried to read the version, the version icon on the phone changed to the colorful one, but no answer could be readed on the brick.

    Thank you,

    hadesz

Current version of BTSense works only with NXT brick (it does not work with EV3 brick).

    Just a quick question....
Do you happen to have as well a RobotC compatible version of the BTSense Library (currently for NXC).
We got a few things running with an AbsoluteIMU using RobotC and were contemplating the idea of integrating the BTSense control.

If not - any specific reason "Why Not" that should shy away others (like us) to attempt it? ...such as low level BT commands, etc??

    Thanks

    Hi all,
I'm trying to make btsense loaded on an android work with an EV3, the software seem to get in connection with the brick, but i was not able to find the ev3 blocks for the mindstorm labview anywhere. Is there some download page i miss? have they been developed?...Shall i develop the api myself? Any advise about the platform to choose in this case?
I think most of the minstorm owner have also an android somewhere at home....so using the two things together is quite natural...
    Any reply highly appreciated.
( i'm avalable for Beta testing..)
    Regards

I am having trouble with the BTSense-lib.nxc program. Currently, I am being told by BricxCC that I am missing semicolons, yet I'm not missing those on those lines. Here are the Errors:

    # Error: ';' expected
    File "C:UsersmehDesktop.BTSense-lib.nxc" ; line 50

If anybody can help, please do. This code was downloaded yesterday and hasn't been touched.
